A belgian solution

Wednesday, October 14, 2009

The times that I can be 'proud' of my Belgian (e)ID card are scares (although our football team seems to be on the rise again). The feeling of unity is almost non existing, but sometimes people abroad tend to grasp our concept of non-violent conflict (Flanders vs Wallonie), label it pragmatic and try to use it as a solution .That's why it has been called "the belgian solution" (for example by the Canadians) but the article below gives a comparison that I find new and pretty intriguing. Feel free to read it and give your comments on it!
